About Deb
Hi, I’m Deb! Japanese has been a part of my life and career for many years. I’ve worked as a Japanese Language Specialist at Amazon, Tech Mahindra and Cognizant, where I used Japanese every day in real professional settings.
Today I work as a UX designer specializing in localization, which means helping products communicate across languages and cultures. This work has taught me how to explain ideas simply and clearly, which is exactly what beginners need.
I learned Japanese as a non-native speaker myself, so I understand the challenges Indian learners face, from memorizing hiragana to getting comfortable with speaking. I know which shortcuts work and which mistakes to avoid.
I love sharing Japanese because it opens doors to new careers, a fascinating culture and a whole new way of thinking. My goal is to make your first steps in Japanese easy, enjoyable and confidence-building. I’m patient, friendly and always happy to answer questions.

Want to learn Japanese but don’t know where to start? My classes are designed for complete beginners and make the basics simple, fun, and stress-free. I’ve worked as a Japanese Language Specialist at Amazon, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant, and I can explain Japanese clearly to Indian learners.
What you’ll learn:
Hiragana and katakana, with easy memory tricks
Basic kanji used in everyday life
Simple grammar and sentence building
Everyday conversation: greetings, self-introduction, numbers, time, shopping
Correct pronunciation from day one
How a typical class works:
Each class starts with a quick revision. Then I introduce new words and grammar, explained in simple English, and we practise speaking together. You’ll get short, easy homework so you improve steadily.
Who it’s for:
School and college students, working professionals, and anyone starting from zero. These classes also build a strong foundation for JLPT N5. Lessons are online and self-paced.
