About Max

I am a first-year medical student. I graduated with an ATAR of 99.4 scoring 96/100 in physics, 95/100 in chemistry, 93/100 in specialist mathematics, and 90/100 mathematical methods. I am passionate about math and have 5 years tutoring students of many ages throughout their schooling at all stages of learning. I strongly believe in the development of effective study techniques and habits along with targeted content tutoring that I have seen sets my students up for lifelong success.

About the lesson

"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." I believe that the key to success in math—and in life—is developing the skills and confidence to tackle challenges independently. My tutoring sessions are designed not just to improve your child’s understanding of math, but to help them grow holistically as students and problem-solvers. During our one-on-one sessions, I will: 1. Identify and address areas of difficulty to build a strong foundation. 2. Review your child’s work, study habits, and progress to ensure steady improvement. 3. Teach logical and creative thinking strategies to approach math with confidence. My goal is to set your child up for long-term success, equipping them with the tools they need to achieve their best—just as I have done. Empower your child to gain confidence, excel in challenging subjects, and unlock their full potential this school year!

This walking, breathing encyclopaedia has single handily carried me into getting an offer for Medicine at one of Australia’s most prestigious universities - University of Melbourne. He’s very adaptable and innovation, always coming up with new ways to prepare for GAMSAT by using my hobbies such as League of Legends. I highly recommend Max as a GAMSAT tutor.
