About Marlys
Five years of University-level lecturing (finance) and one year of ESL private tutoring. One-on-one and up to classes of 25, with students from South Korea, China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Mexico, Latin, and South America and Carribean Islands. Business executives, MD/PhD's, Software Engineers and others improve fluency, accuracy, pronunciation, and listening skills, resulting in published articles, speaking engagements, promotions, and self-confidence.
Extensive international travel in Asia (Japan, China, HongKong), India, UK, Europe, Middle East, Latin and South America.

I have an MS from a world-renowned Institute, an ESL Certificate and courses in technology-mediated language instruction and design. Other academic work in economics and management. I teach beginners, intermediate and advanced English learners. My approach utilizes principles of andragogy (adult learning), research, and brain-based language learning.
