About Anji

Hello! I'm currently in my upcoming third year of university at New York University, with a strong passion for helping others achieve their academic goals. Throughout my own academic journey, I've developed excellent skills in reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, critical analysis, and standardized test preparation. I understand the challenges students face because I've been in their shoes, and I know how much of a difference the right guidance can make.

I'm patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. Whether you're preparing for the SAT, improving your writing, or tackling a challenging literature assignment, I'll work with you to develop the skills and strategies needed for long-term success. My goal is not just to help you improve your grades, but to help you become a more confident reader, writer, and communicator.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether you're looking to improve your English skills, deepen your understanding of English Literature, or prepare for the SAT. I believe that learning is most effective when concepts are explained clearly, connected to real examples, and reinforced through guided practice.

A typical lesson begins by identifying the topics you find most challenging. From there, we'll work through explanations, examples, and practice questions together, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and build confidence. I also provide personalized feedback and strategies to help you improve between sessions.

For English and Literature students, I can help with reading comprehension, literary analysis, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, and exam preparation. For SAT students, I focus on Reading & Writing strategies, time management, grammar rules, and practice with official-style questions.

My lessons are suitable for middle school, high school, and first-year university students, as well as anyone looking to strengthen their English skills. As a current university student, I understand the challenges of balancing coursework and exams, and I aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students can build both their skills and confidence.
