About Wennie
I’m an international student from University of Melbourne, third year in Bachelor of Science and major in Environmental Engineering. Third year in Melbourne, so was educated in China until getting into University. Speaking English and Mandarin fluently, taught English in China after graduated from High School.

I was born in Nanjing, Jiang Su Province, China. As educated in top schools since primary school, my Chinese is standard and with no accent.
I welcome students who are interested in learning Mandarin no matter their levels. And I will provide personal schedules according to different students' acceptance levels.
My lessons will be set in three parts: 1. the words learning part; 2. the grammar learning part; 3. the Chinese cultural learning part. From my learning experiences, understanding cultural backgrounds is the most important way to learn a new language, so I set the third module.
The 'words learning part' includes writing, pronunciation, and meaning; the 'grammar part' is more based on reading sentences and paragraphs. And the cultural part will set with Chinese history and nowadays trending words (from TikTok and the internet).
I will talk to the students in Mandarin mostly during the class to make them more local.
