About Keira
Hello! My name is Keira. I am a Filipina who just finished matric in South Africa. I know school can be so stressful and overwhelming, trust me I have been there. But also with this, I have learned a lot of tips from studying techniques to academic stress management, which I would also love to teach you in my lessons. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Filipino so you don't have to worry if you are not a native English speaker. Speaking transparently, tutoring for me is not only one of the ways I can help my family financially but also, helping other learners succeed academically is such a fulfilling experience and I would be very privileged to be one of the people who helps make your goals turn into reality :)

Hi! I'm Keira. Being a tutor while being a Senior Highschool student provides a comfortable connection between the tutor and the learner which can make the lessons feel more relatable and less daunting! For now, I am capable of teaching Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Graphics and Design and Information Technology (Java Programming) to learners from Grade 10 and below. My typical lessons provide a general explanation of the fundamentals and basics of the requested topic and answering specific questions from the learner to help them actually understand every Whys and Hows of the material. I am fluent in English, Portuguese and Filipino(tagalog) as I have studied in different countries (Philippines, United Kingdom, Angola, and South Africa) and have experienced different education systems. Therefore, I am quite versatile with my teaching because I believe that the teachers should be the ones who level their teaching with the learner's understanding and not the other way around. I am also very open to learn more during this teaching journey since I believe that there should be a proper understanding between the teacher and the learner.
