About Mark
I am an internationally experienced striking coach with over 20 years of experience working across boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA stand-up, including takedown defense. My work has taken place in the United States, Thailand, and Japan, where I have coached and trained within diverse competitive and training environments.
Over the years, I have worked with a range of professional fighters and athletes, including Mark Hunt, Josh Barnett, Maurice Smith, and Bob Sapp, among others. This experience has contributed to a practical, results-oriented approach grounded in real-world application at a high level of competition.
My focus is on developing efficient, intelligent, and adaptable performance through a clear understanding of fundamentals, movement, and decision-making. I emphasize structure, clarity, and technical precision, helping athletes build not only skill, but the ability to apply it effectively under pressure.
I work with a wide range of students, from beginners establishing their foundation to advanced competitors refining performance, with each approach tailored to the individual’s goals and level.

I structure my lessons around analysis, troubleshooting, and targeted refinement of performance. I focus on helping students understand movement, timing, positioning, and decision-making through clear breakdowns of their own training or competition footage. I apply biomechanical principles to improve speed, force, output, and efficiency, identifying technical adjustments that lead to measurable performance gains. Sessions are centered on analyzing patterns, correcting errors, and developing practical strategies for improvement. Each lesson is adapted to the individual’s level and goals, whether beginner or advanced, with an emphasis on technical understanding, fight intelligence, and overall performance.
