About Elizabeth
I am a 25-year-old American living and working in Germany. I love to travel and have visited 38 countries and 32 American states thus far. My dream trip is to backpack from India to Japan in 2024-2025. I studied International Affairs for both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, concentrating in Sustainability, Gender Security, and Conflict & Development. I wish to someday pursue a doctorate in Peace & Conflict studies to focus on genocide prevention.
I love to meet new people and discuss current events. Gaining instructional experience through my education and several assistantship positions, I am capable of teaching conversational English, as well as academic and business English for those looking to enrich their professional skill sets. I can't wait to meet you!

I will aim my tutoring sessions towards conversational practice but am also available to teach business and academic English. If you are looking for informal practice: Ahead of each session we can agree on a topic of discussion, then have a conversation about this topic together. If you are looking for more formal lessons, I can assign the topics and give you materials to review before our sessions. Materials could be articles, music, a film, etc.
I am a fun-loving teacher who wants our sessions to be both enjoyable and educational. I will not be shy in correcting you, but I will never be harsh or interrupt your train of thought.
I can teach anyone at any level of English. My specialty lies in politics and culture, so those interested in becoming more comfortable with their day-to-day speaking skills are very welcome in exploring these topics with me.
