About Rahbar Ahmed

I am a dedicated and professional Mathematics teacher with over 11 years of teaching experience, working with secondary school students in both classroom and tutoring environments. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, which gives me a strong academic foundation to teach mathematics with clarity and depth.

Throughout my career, I have helped students improve their understanding of mathematics, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and achieve better results in their exams. I have experience preparing students for secondary school mathematics, SAT Math, and competitive exams such as IIT-JEE, which has trained me to teach structured thinking and efficient exam strategies.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and focused on building confidence. I understand that many students feel anxious about mathematics, so I work to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and learn from mistakes. I focus on explaining concepts clearly and guiding students step by step until they can solve problems independently.

Students and parents appreciate my organized lessons, clear explanations, and commitment to student progress. I take my role seriously and always aim to maintain a high level of professionalism, reliability, and preparation in every lesson.

My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop logical thinking, discipline, and long-term confidence in mathematics.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring focuses on conceptual understanding, structured problem-solving, and building student confidence in mathematics. Instead of memorizing formulas, I help students understand WHY mathematical concepts work. I break complex topics into simple steps, use real examples, and guide students through different types of problems so they develop strong analytical thinking and independent problem-solving skills.

I also emphasize exam strategy and higher-order thinking, helping students recognize patterns, avoid common mistakes, and approach questions logically. Depending on the student’s needs, lessons may include concept explanation, guided practice, exam-style questions, and review of weak areas.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. Sessions usually begin with a short review of previous material, followed by learning new concepts, practicing problems together, and ending with independent exercises to ensure understanding.

I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. I have 11+ years of teaching experience, including teaching secondary mathematics internationally and preparing students for SAT Math, IIT-JEE, and advanced mathematics courses.

My lessons are designed for secondary school students (Grades 8–12) and students preparing for school examinations or standardized tests. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and goals to ensure steady improvement and long-term understanding of mathematics.
