About Sarfraz
Hello, my name is Sarfraz Ameer. I have an academic background in International Relations and experience providing online tutoring to students.
My studies have given me a strong understanding of international law, global institutions, state relations, international agreements and the legal principles that shape relations between countries.
I understand that international law can initially feel difficult because students must learn legal concepts, cases, treaties and academic arguments at the same time. My aim is to make these topics easier to understand through clear explanations, structured notes and practical examples.
I work patiently with each student and adjust my teaching according to their academic level, course requirements and learning goals. Whether you are preparing for an examination, working on an essay or trying to understand a difficult topic, I will help you approach the subject in an organized and confident way.

My international law lessons are designed for students who need clear, structured and personalized academic support.
Lessons may cover:
• Sources of international law
• International treaties and conventions
• Customary international law
• State sovereignty
• Recognition of states and governments
• State responsibility
• Jurisdiction and immunity
• International organizations
• The United Nations system
• International human rights law
• International humanitarian law
• Use of force and collective security
• Peaceful settlement of international disputes
• International courts and tribunals
• Relationship between international law and international relations
Each lesson is planned according to the student’s needs. We can focus on one difficult concept, revise a complete topic, prepare for an examination or work on improving an academic essay.
A typical lesson may include:
A simple explanation of the main concept
Discussion of relevant legal principles, treaties or cases
Connection with real international events
Review of class notes or course materials
Practice questions or essay planning
Feedback and a short revision plan
I avoid unnecessary legal jargon and explain difficult ideas in straightforward language. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and discuss different interpretations.
Essay and assignment guidance
I can help students:
• Understand the assignment question
• Identify the main legal issues
• Develop a clear argument
• Prepare an essay outline
• Organize paragraphs logically
• Use relevant legal sources
• Improve clarity and academic structure
• Review and strengthen their own draft
• Prepare for presentations and oral discussions
My role is to guide students through their work and help them develop their own understanding. I do not complete graded assignments, examinations or assessed work on behalf of students.
Who the lessons are for
These lessons are suitable for:
• Undergraduate International Relations students
• Political Science students
• Law students taking introductory international law
• Students preparing for examinations
• Learners struggling with legal terminology
• Students needing help with essays and academic arguments
• Anyone interested in understanding international legal issues
You do not need advanced legal knowledge before beginning. We can start with the basic concepts and gradually move toward more complex topics.
Teaching approach
My teaching style is:
• Clear and structured
• Patient and supportive
• Based on the student’s current level
• Focused on understanding rather than memorization
• Connected with real international examples
• Suitable for online learning
I believe students perform better when they understand not only what a legal rule says, but also why it exists and how it applies in real situations.
Book an introductory lesson and share the topic, course outline or assignment question you are currently studying. We will identify the areas that need attention and create a focused learning plan.
