About Savannah
Hello, my name is Savannah and I am an International Business student at the University of Arkansas. I have been tutoring people of all ages for 5 years in math, English, and computer applications. I love helping other people understand content that can be difficult. I think sometimes individuals just need a little more explanation and practice, rather than just reading the material or listening to a lecture. Extra practice from a student is extremely beneficial because they can better explain the newer methods used and tell them how it applies in the real world and in later classes. Student tutors also can offer insight as to what kinds of questions may be on tests and/or what future classes may look like. I aim to help people understand the material, rather than just memorize.

I believe that math is about the ability to have critical thinking and recognizing patterns. As a student, I know what methods and ways of studying work and what don't. I have the ability to explain and build critical thinking patterns that will be used in every math class, as well as other classes. My typical lesson plan would be based off the individual student. I would contact them and see what specifically they need help with and then come to our tutoring sessions prepared with papers, explanations, and practice problems for the student. I can teach all middle school levels, high school trig and geometry, as well as college level algebra and calculus. Whether it be long term sessions, or just a one time session review over specific content, I can help.
