About Laurent
Since a young age back in Cameroon where I grew up I always assisted to learning and engaged in activities for example I took classes on how to type. Generating skills have aided me to also teach others and build my own confidence. Throughout secondary school in Ireland I was a prefect to students, taught French to students and aided to getting settled in secondary school. At third level, I have worked as an activities leader for over 4 months where I worked with children and young adults. Here I taught English and on some occasions French. It included all aspects of presentations, learning while on trips around Ireland, evening activities like quizzes, music games etc. From this job students have safely travelled back to their home countries of Spain, France, Germany, China, Italy where they have successfully completed their secondary education.

My name is Laurent and I am a recent graduate in International Business with French. I obtained a second class honours grade at the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown Dublin, Ireland. I have previously worked as an activities leader for a couple of months where I aided to the learning of English and French to students. Based on experience, I can tutor kids aged 5 years of age in French, or English leading up to 18 or over. Techniques and methods: -Keeping it real -Fostering independence (using critical thinking) -Using multi-media tools (video presentations, songs, works etc) -Assessment through games -Changing settings (cafes, library etc) Methodology: -Flexible and patient to student learning - Build relationship with student, confidence - Improve study skills -Providing relevant information, staying away from the pointless natty stuff -Keeping a level of professionalism -Providing students to ask questions or feedback
