About Francine
I am a student in college who is passionate about English, specifically in creative writing, and I aspire to teach younger students and guide them towards understanding and mastering the skills needed to write eloquently and precisely.
I received A** (Grade 9's) on both English Literature and Language. I took one year on World Literature at college through their IB Diploma Program. Currently, I am studying English Literature and Classics A-Level.

My method of teaching is creating a comfortable and cordial atmosphere around my students. As I am of younger age, I find my age often helps me connect with my pupils more beyond face value.
My lessons are structured by starting off with a topic my pupil struggles with and working around how to combat this difficulty step-by-step. I approach these lessons steadily, making sure every ounce of confusion is dispelled by precisely pinpointing where my students struggle and why they struggle with it. I do this by handing out worksheets/questions/extracts/past papers (in which I work with them during the start before I leave them to be independent as the lesson goes on whilst monitoring closely)
I am patient and understanding as I have not left school long ago so I can empathise on the difficulties my students face when it comes to mastering a subject. Furthermore, I am familiar with the curriculum as I have studied it not so long ago and is still fresh in my mind meaning that I know what is required and what is not required in the academia.
