About Alejandra

My field is in architecture and research. However, I find the greatest fulfillment and purpose in teaching languages. Seeing my students improve and achieve their goals is a gift from each one of them. I have had the privilege of living in Japan, Canada, the US, Panama and Colombia where I have been exposed to different cultures and languages. I believe this has helped make my language programs successful not only academically, but also gives my students and I a great opportunity for cultural exchange. Besides teaching languages, I also have professional experience translating content for design websites in Spanish and English. I graduated from a literature and language program in Panama which along with other learning experiences, gave me the tools to design my lessons.

About the lesson

My students and I enjoy making the most of each lesson. I design the programs to help each person reach their unique goals with a fun and time efficient approach.

I usually include my student's passions and introduce them to new topics during the lessons to make their learning journey much more interesting and enjoyable. This has created unique experiences with excellent results for both children and adults.

I have had wonderful experiences with students who:
-Were preparing for a specific language proficiency test
-Wanted to improve their conversation skills
-Were starting from a basic level
-Had a specific need like learning new vocabulary and improving their writing skills for work

I can also teach you to the basics of Japanese writing and speaking while introducing you to Japan's fascinating culture. I lived in Kitakyushu for a few years and love studying its wide range of arts and history with my students.
