About Elizabeth
I am a student at CU Boulder, pursuing a degree in integrative physiology. I plan to go to Physician's Assistant school after I graduate. I would love to help high school and middle school students with topics in english and science. I struggled with science in high school, despite it being my major now in college, and I think that I can help those who share that similar situation. It wasn't until college that everything finally clicked, and I think that explaining the ways that I navigated those classes is my strong point. Please reach out with any questions.

I can provide answers to specific questions and give study tips, I think that finding a study method that works is the most important key to success.
I would start off by asking what specific topics the student is struggling with, and then provide practice questions or explanations of subject matter to help the student gain a clearer understanding of the topic. I can help high school students in both regular classes as well as AP/IB, as well as middle school students in regular or advanced classes. I am big on metaphors for subjects, as I think that seeing a problem in a relatable and "real-life" way can help immensely with understanding the problem.
I think what sets me apart as a tutor is that in high school, I really struggled with finding a consistency with understanding science, despite receiving high grades, and it was not until college that I found my love for science and it all clicked. I think a perspective coming from someone who had trouble with science can be helpful, because I can explain the ways in which I navigated those classes, and how those concepts became clear to me.
