I am a current teacher (Education Assitant) in a Middle School in Calgary, Alberta.
I have a degree in journalism so I know how to communicate very effectively.
I've taught overseas for 8 years.

I love using story telling and visuals to build solid basic understanding. Then I build on that and find cool problems to solve that reinforce the learning. In a typical class, I first listen to my student so I'm very clear on their goals and expectations. Then I find real life examples that we can discuss and break down to logically create understanding.
