About Tim
I am a dedicated teacher with nearly 47 years of classroom experience teaching English and Drama to ‘A’ Level, whose enthusiasm for these subjects, sense of humour and subject knowledge has earned the respect of pupils, parents and colleagues alike. In terms of curricular experience, I have taught KS3 to ‘A’ Level in the UK, the American High School Diploma in Saudi Arabia and IGCSE and IBDP in Azerbaijan. I have run several departments, a Performing Arts and an English Faculty. I also consider myself to be academically very well qualified have obtained a Masters Degree in Creative Writing (2019) and a Masters Degree in Victorian Literature (1991), as well as a BA hons (1983) and Certificate in Education (1975). I pride myself on the high standard of the work my pupils have produced and I consider their exam success a testimony to the quality of my teaching and my ability to inspire the pupils with whom I work.
