About Daisy
I am an enthusiastic piano educator with 7 years of experience guiding around 300 students. My students include teenagers, college learners, and adults who are passionate about music. Teaching piano gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge while mentoring students towards success.
My philosophy is to combine technical excellence with creativity. I focus on building strong basics such as hand coordination, timing, scales, dynamics, and articulation. I also teach music theory in a practical way so students understand harmony and structure.
Lessons are organised and goal-oriented. Beginners develop confidence through simple pieces and exercises, while advanced students work on challenging compositions and performance skills. I provide regular feedback and encourage disciplined practice routines.
Many of my students have demonstrated remarkable growth and have achieved excellent exam results. Some have performed confidently in public concerts. My aim is to guide students to become independent, confident, and expressive pianists.

My approach to teaching piano combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and structured progression. Piano requires both discipline and emotional expression, so I guide students carefully in both areas. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as scales, chords, arpeggios, rhythm precision, and hand coordination.
I explain techniques slowly and clearly, demonstrating each movement so students can follow correctly. Communication helps create a positive and respectful learning environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and grow. Creativity is encouraged in every lesson. Students explore different styles such as classical, contemporary, or simple popular music patterns.
I help them understand musical phrasing and expression so they can play with feeling. Flexibility allows me to personalise lessons according to the learning speed and interests of each student. I also support students in developing good practice routines and time management skills.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, ear development, and performance preparation to build complete musicianship. My aim is to help students achieve technical strength while maintaining passion and enjoyment for music.
