About Stephanie
I have 14 years of teaching experience and hold a Master of Science in Mathematical Learning. Throughout my teaching career, I have guided students from middle school through pre-university mathematics, helping them develop confidence through supportive mentoring, structured instruction, and engaging classroom experiences. My goal is to inspire students to approach mathematics with curiosity and determination.
One learner initially struggled with solving problems involving weighted averages because organizing multiple values and determining appropriate calculations required careful reasoning. Through practical classroom examples, spreadsheet-based activities, and guided problem-solving exercises, the student gradually developed confidence and achieved outstanding improvement in mathematics assessments.
I believe mathematics develops logical reasoning, creativity, perseverance, precision, and lifelong curiosity that prepare students for continued academic achievement and professional success. Outside teaching, I enjoy developing mathematics enrichment materials, mentoring junior educators, and attending educational conferences that explore innovative teaching strategies.
