About Christopher
I am an engineer with a master's in education. I am in my fifth year of teaching high school math and have passed two SOA (actuary) exams; one on probability and one on financial mathematics. These tests have a less than 50% pass rate and I passed both the first attempt.

I am patient, have experience teaching all levels from special education Algebra 1 to AP Statistics. I meet students where they are at and help them incrementally build their math skills.
I introduce concepts, show example problems, walk students through their own work, and let them try on their own. This process repeats itself until the student feels comfortable teaching it to someone else!
