About Angie
My name is Angie, and I am an Industrial Engineer and a dedicated tutor in Mathematics and Spanish with a clear, structured, and results-oriented approach. I support students in strengthening their academic foundations, improving comprehension, and building confidence in their abilities, regardless of their starting level.
My academic background as an engineer, combined with my experience in learning processes, allows me to explain complex concepts in a clear, organized, and practical way. In Mathematics, I focus on logical understanding rather than memorization, helping students grasp the reasoning behind each procedure. In Spanish, I work with language as a whole, developing reading, writing, comprehension, and oral expression skills.
I am known for being responsible, organized, and fully committed to each student’s progress. I carefully plan every lesson, adapt the content to the student’s level and learning pace, and create a respectful and supportive environment where asking questions and making mistakes are a natural part of learning.
My goal as a tutor is to provide serious and professional academic support that not only improves academic performance, but also strengthens autonomy, motivation, and confidence in learning.

My approach as a tutor and how I share my knowledge:
My approach as a tutor is holistic, structured, and learner-centered. I believe that effective learning happens when students feel safe, understood, and actively engaged in the process. I combine clear methodology with empathy, presence, and adaptability, allowing each lesson to respond to the learner’s needs, pace, and objectives.
I use a blended teaching method that integrates:
1. Clear conceptual explanations with practical application.
2. Guided reflection and experiential learning.
3. Visual, verbal, and hands-on techniques to address different learning styles.
4. Continuous feedback to reinforce confidence and progress
5. I emphasize clarity, repetition with purpose, and real-life examples so knowledge is not only understood, but integrated.
A standard lesson usually follows this structure:
1) Check-in and objective setting – understanding the learner’s current state and goals for the session
2) Core content – introduction or development of the main topic using structured explanations and examples
3) Practice and application – exercises, guided activities, or reflective tasks
4) Feedback and adjustment – reviewing progress and clarifying doubts
5) Closing and integration – summarizing key learnings and, when appropriate, assigning a small practice or reflection
This structure remains flexible and can be adapted depending on the learner and subject matter.
What distinguishes me is my ability to combine professionalism with deep human awareness. I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I tailor each session to the individual. My background allows me to support not only cognitive learning, but also emotional regulation, focus, and self-confidence—key elements for sustainable progress.
I am highly attentive, organized, and committed to creating meaningful learning experiences rather than rushed or superficial sessions.
My lessons are designed for:
- Children and young adults
- Beginners to intermediate learners
- Students seeking personal growth, conscious learning, or skill development
- Individuals who value a calm, respectful, and structured learning environment
- Lessons are especially suitable for learners who appreciate depth, reflection, and practical understanding rather than purely mechanical instruction.
