About Raunak
I am Raunak, an industrial designer with 10 years of industry experience, working on a diverse range of projects from automotive design to consumer electronics and to packaging, wearables, and home appliances. Over the years my career has been driven by a passion for blending innovation, functionality, and aesthetics to create products that enhance everyday life. Teaching is a natural extension of my practice, I mentor design students, guiding them to bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-world product development. For the past 10 years, I have trained aspiring designers to strengthen their skills through practical projects, design thinking, and professional presentation techniques. My goal is to share the methods, mindset, and confidence that have shaped my journey so others can excel as creative, industry-ready automotive and product designers.

I focus on three core areas that shape strong, industry-ready product designers: design sketching and visualisation (portfolio preparation), product ideation and storytelling, and manufacturing fundamentals for designers. Through design sketching, students learn to express ideas with clarity and confidence, mastering perspective, form, and rendering techniques to create professional-quality visualisations. In product ideation and storytelling, I guide you through the creative process of transforming insights into innovative concepts while crafting narratives that give your designs purpose and emotional appeal. The third pillar, manufacturing fundamentals, helps students understand materials, processes, and design for manufacturability principles — bridging the gap between creativity and real-world production. Together, these topics build the essential balance of artistry, strategy, and technical know-how needed to bring meaningful, feasible, and visually compelling products to life.
