My strategies and tutor styles are catered towards the student and their learning style, whether visual, hands on, or just by listening and working through whatever problem they face. A typical lesson plan would include an assessment of the skills and knowledge they have in the topics then discussing what they are doing currently to try and learn about the subjects. Then finally going over the topics or struggle areas and using their style of learning to connect with the student and help them learn the material the best way possible. The fact that I am still in high school can seem scary but the fact that I am helps me connect to the student better than others may be able to by relating to them on a personal level. I also have a passion for learning so if there is something I’m not confident on, I will teach myself and learn it to be able to help the student in the best way possible. I will tutor elementary through high schoolers on chemistry, biology, algebra 1 and 2, precalc and calc, geometry and trigonometry.
