About Umaimah
I have always been passionate to teach young children and teenagers from a young age. Throughout my time at high school and college, I have picked up methods and techniques that worked for me when it came to teaching and learning. I would specifically specialise in English, as it was always my strong point and would achieve top grades. I would like to pass on my knowledge to other students who may or may not struggle or even would require additional help. This would satisfy my enthusiasm to be able to teach a subject I love. As a English tutor for 1 year, my students have successfully passed their English exams through the constant exposure to past paper questions and practice.

I have studied English Language & Literature at A Level, analysing in depth a range of different texts. I have previously taught English privately to GCSE students/ primary school students and have always received fantastic feedback, as well as results. I am able to adapt my teaching technique to fit your ability to learn. This comes with communication skills and comprehending your personal way of learning. I would provide any worksheets and past papers depending on the level the child is at (Primary or Secondary student). My role would be to push an individual to achieving top grades in English Language or for exam preparation (SATs/ GCSEs).
