About Teodora

My name is Teodora, and I’m delighted to offer my expertise in Mathematics. I’ll be starting my Mathematics studies at the University of Oxford this October. Since I was 15 and until recently I have tutored at a leading Kumon centre and later started providing private tutoring for GCSE students. With a recent A* in A-Level Mathematics, I am eager to use my experience to support students in improving their Maths skills and achieving their academic goals.

About the lesson

To ensure that our tutoring sessions are as productive and tailored to your needs as possible, I ask that you share the topic you'd like to focus on, or any specific papers or questions you’re struggling with, at least a day before our lesson. This allows me to prepare thoroughly so that we can dive right into the material and make the most of our time together. During the lesson, we will work through the topic in depth, addressing any challenges or gaps in understanding. My goal is not just to help you grasp the concepts, but to ensure you can apply your knowledge confidently and effectively. Whether it's clarifying difficult topics, practising problem-solving techniques, or reinforcing your skills, the session will be structured around your individual learning needs. After our lesson, I will assign you targeted homework to reinforce what we’ve covered. This homework is a crucial part of your learning, helping to solidify your understanding and prepare you for future lessons. I ask that you complete the homework and send it to me at least a day before our next session. This allows me to review your work and identify any areas that may need further attention, ensuring our next lesson is just as focused and beneficial. My main goal is your progress. I’ll keep you updated on how you're doing and adjust my teaching to fit your learning style. By creating a supportive environment and building your confidence, I aim to help you excel in mathematics and develop a genuine appreciation for the subject.
