About Jada

I have always had a strong passion for math and science, which is one of the reasons I will be pursuing engineering in university. Tutoring has given me the opportunity to share that passion with others while helping students build confidence in subjects that can sometimes feel intimidating. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simpler ideas and finding different ways to explain material so that it makes sense to each individual student.

One of the most rewarding parts of tutoring is seeing a student's confidence grow when they finally understand a difficult concept or achieve a goal they have been working toward. Through my experience tutoring high school students and teaching elementary school children, I have learned the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting my teaching style to meet each student's needs. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to foster a positive attitude toward learning and help them recognize their own potential.

About the lesson

Hi! I am an incoming engineering undergraduate student with a strong background in math and science, and I’m passionate about helping students feel confident and capable in these subjects. I tutor students from elementary to high school levels in math and science, specializing in mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics. I also tutor AP Calculus AB. I have strong experience in these subjects, consistently achieving grades in the 95%–99% range.

Throughout high school, I have spent a lot of time helping classmates understand challenging concepts, and I’ve learned how to make difficult topics feel much more approachable. My approach is to build understanding from the ground up—breaking concepts into simple, clear steps so students truly understand what they are doing, rather than just memorizing solutions.

I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs and learning style to make sure every lesson is effective and engaging. Along the way, I also focus on study skills, test-taking strategies, and building long-term confidence.

Whether you’re preparing for an upcoming test, trying to improve your grades, or getting ahead for next year, I aim to make learning supportive, interactive, and enjoyable. My goal is to help you not just improve, but actually feel confident tackling problems on your own!
