About Orla
Hi! I’m a piano teacher with more than 8 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Piano Pedagogy. I’m passionate about helping students develop a deep emotional connection to the music they play. I believe technique and expression go hand in hand.
I focus on pedal control, dynamic shaping, and expressive phrasing. Lessons are designed to improve technical ability while encouraging musical interpretation. Students learn to bring their own voice to the pieces they play.
I work with learners of all ages, tailoring lessons to their skill level and interests. Together, we explore repertoire that challenges technique and inspires artistry. Every lesson is an opportunity to build skill, confidence, and expressive freedom.

I help students perform with confidence and artistic expression. Lessons focus on memorization, recital and audition preparation, stage presence, and performance anxiety management. I want learners to feel prepared and poised on stage.
I work closely with The Exam Taker and The Church Musician to overcome nerves and perform effectively. Students practice memorization techniques, expressive interpretation, and strategies to stay calm under pressure.
Through structured practice, feedback, and performance simulations, learners develop both technical skills and stage confidence. My aim is for students to perform with assurance, presence, and musicality. Together, we make each performance impactful.
