About Emilia

Bonjour! Originally from Paris, I am passionated about helping students succeed or discovering French culture. Regarding my academic background, I graduated with a dual diploma in English law and French law. I also obtained an LLM with high Merit.

Having been a French tutor before, I aim to make learning enjoyable and accessible to help students succeed. As part of the class, I will also offer before the end of each lesson, an insight into the French culture, food, cities to visit and tips to practice the language more quickly.

My goal is to create a positive and engaging learning experience that builds confidence and academic success.

About the lesson

I am an experienced French and English tutor in Paris and London. I tutored students for their A-levels and at university. To improve French, I aim to introduce conversational and written practice exercises.

- Conversational: In addition to interacting with the students and learning about their day in French, I will also ask them to choose a hobby that they are interested in (arts, music, sports) and to come to each lesson with new information that they learned about this topic. This will help students build fluency and confidence while engaging in French. The conversations will also allow the student to enhance their pronunciation.

- Written exercise: For each lesson, I will produce Vocabulary, Grammar and Syntax lessons, about their topic of interest. This will help them improve their mistakes. Instead of normal classes, I believe that engaging on a topic the student is interested in, is the best way to improve their learning.

At the end of each session, I will share an insight into French culture such as our movies, food or music.
