About Jonathan
My name is Jonathan, and I bring a professional, patient, and practical approach to English tutoring. I have a strong background in writing, editing, business communication, training, leadership, and professional documentation. I have written and reviewed emails, reports, resumes, cover letters, policies, procedures, and training materials in professional environments.
As a tutor, I focus on helping students build confidence while improving real communication skills. My approach is patient, practical, and personalized. I begin by understanding each student’s goals, current skill level, and areas of difficulty. From there, I create lessons that focus on clear communication, useful vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
A typical lesson may include a short warm-up conversation, review of previous material, focused instruction on one skill area, guided practice, and real-world application. For writing students, we may work on sentence structure, paragraph organization, essays, emails, resumes, or cover letters. For conversation students, we focus on confidence, pronunciation, vocabulary, and natural expression.
