About Amanda

- I am in my second year of my physics degree at Imperial College London
- I achieved 11 GCSEs (eight grade 9, one grade 8, one A*, and one A; more detail can be given on request) so I'm very much familiar with the new style of exams, having recently sat them.
- I achieved 4A*s at A-Level (physics, maths, chemistry, and further maths)
- I have had experience tutoring an AS-level student who went from high Bs and low As to solid A*s in their class
- I have supported a GCSE maths student for two years during their studies and helped to consolidate knowledge taught in schools and hone their exam technique
- I am currently tutoring a student doing their GCSEs in one year and have helped them to apply their knowledge to exam-style questions

About the lesson

I have over 3 years of experience with online tutoring and really feel I have developed a method that works. I use a combination of Google Meet screen-sharing and OneNote to tutor, allowing you to see my working real-time and also allowing you to have a go at the questions yourself.

I have helped students gain confidence in their scientific ability, get great exam results, and become good problem solvers and scientific thinkers.

I cater my lessons to the individual, assessing strengths and weaknesses and targeting the right areas.
