About Amanda

Hello, my name is Amanda and I'm a second year physics student at Imperial College London. I have over 3 years of experience in tutoring maths and science and have helped my students gain confidence in their skills, obtain great results from exams, and enjoy the subjects I teach.

My grades at GCSE were: eight grade 9s, one grade 8, one A*, and one A. My A-levels were as follows: Chemistry - A*, Further Maths - A*, Maths - A*, Physics - A*

Not only do I have experience in teaching these subjects but also, having recently sat the exams, I truly understand the exam process and what the examiners are looking for in your answers so can help with both exam technique as well as content revision.

I tutor online, using OneNote as a collaborative writing space where I can show you how to answer the questions in real-time and you can have a go at some questions yourself. In conjunction with this, I use Zoom to communicate during the session.

About the lesson

I have over 3 years of experience with online maths tutoring and really feel I have developed a method that works. I use a combination of Google Meets screen-sharing and OneNote to tutor, allowing you to see my working real-time and also allowing you to have a go at the questions yourself.

I have helped students gain confidence in their maths ability, get great exam results, and become good problem solvers. I can't wait to meet you!
