About Arhan

Hi, I'm Arhan. I recently graduated top of my cohort in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, achieving a First Class MEng with an overall average of 87%. I ranked 1st in Years 1, 2 and 4 and 2nd in Year 3, and I am now beginning a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial.

Before Imperial, I completed Cambridge International A Levels in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with 3 A*s and a 98% average. I received four Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards, including Top in the World for AS Mathematics, Top in India for AS Physics and A Level Mathematics, and Best Across Three A Levels in India.

I have been tutoring Mathematics and Science since 2020, including five years of regular online tuition. My approach is to build genuine intuition so that methods and equations feel logical, before developing the problem-solving and exam technique needed to turn that understanding into marks.

Having achieved highly in GCSE and A-Level examinations myself, I know that success is about more than knowing the syllabus. I help students learn how to recognise what a question is asking, choose efficient approaches, avoid common mistakes and perform confidently under exam conditions.

About the lesson

I offer one-to-one online tuition in GCSE/IGCSE Mathematics, Further/Additional Mathematics and Physics, as well as A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics.

Lessons can follow structured topic slides and worked examples, or be more question-led around specific concepts, past papers or areas of difficulty. Once the fundamentals are clear, I focus on problem solving and exam-style questions to build confidence and technique.

I teach AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Cambridge International. Students are asked to send the topic they would like to cover at least 24 hours in advance so I can prepare relevant examples and questions.

Lessons are usually 60 minutes and tailored to the student's level and goals. Group lessons are also available at reduced rates (check below).

Small-group tuition is available for friends or classmates studying the same qualification/ covering broadly the same material:

2 students: £50 each per hour
3 students: £40 each per hour
4 to 5 students: £35 each per hour

Discounted 5-hour and 10-hour packages are also available for groups. Please message me for package pricing.

Please let me know the topic you would like to cover at least 24 hours in advance so that I can prepare specifically for the session.
