About Sasha

I am a student at Imperial College who loves problem solving and working with other people. Therefore, I believe I can help students through tutoring as I’ll be willing to talk through concepts as many times as needed and in as many different ways as possible until the student understands. Having achieved a 9 in both Maths and Further Maths GCSE as well as an A* in Maths A Level and A in Further Maths A Level, I am confident that I will be able to share with students tips and tricks to allow them to achieve any grade that they require.

About the lesson

Having an SEN profile myself, means that I am adaptable to a student’s learning requirements and the pace at which they need to work. I believe that the most important thing is a student being able to fully grasp and understand concepts before moving on to new things. Therefore I would focus more on a student’s understanding rather than the quantity of new content taught. Session lengths would typically be an hour, however I am happy to shorten or lengthen them depending on a student’s ability to concentrate for that long. I have previously tutored multiple students who struggle with GCSE maths and have broken concepts down into manageable bites to allow them to wrap their heads around the different topics.
