About David
Hi, I'm David.
I am someone who has been interested in the sciences for a considerable period of time. In light of this interest, I personally sat my own science A-levels a year early during my A-level studies, alongside my AS exams, and I passed all of the subjects in Year 12.
Later, my interest in the sciences led me to produce content online which provided support for A-level science students.
At this moment in time, my interest in the sciences, as well as in supporting students to excel in their own performance in the sciences, persists.

My approach to tutoring generally focuses on assisting with the strengthening of fluency of recall under exam-like conditions.
Typically, a tutoring lesson will be 60 minutes in length (one hour).
I have experience in the past providing STEM masterclass lessons to classes of Year 12 and Year 13 students for Chemistry in a high-performing school. I also have experience delivering one-to-one admissions-related specialist tutoring for prospective Imperial College London Chemistry applicants. One such student in the past, following my delivery of specialist tutoring, did secure an unconditional offer to study Chemistry at Imperial College London.
The lessons I offer are for students who are studying A-level subjects. At this time, I do not offer tutoring for GCSE students. The tutoring is focused on the sciences at this time.
Ultimately, my view is that no two students are the same. What works for one student may well not work for another student. Therefore, my approach to tutoring may well not be for every student.
Generally speaking, however, my observation is that there are things that the top students and/or the most improved students at A-level do that lead them to be able to prepare more effectively, more efficiently, and more durably for relevant A-level examinations than other students.
When I sat my own A-levels, including those in the sciences, I passed all of my exams one year early, in Year 12, at the age of 17. Later, I gained unconditional-offer admission to Imperial College London to study Chemistry.
In part due to this experience, I have a unique insight relating to intensive preparation for examinations, which not all tutors would be able to provide for their students.
Through digital A-level science online videos, I have provided tutorial-style lessons to A-level students and have supported thousands of A-level students to perform better in their A-level Science examinations.
As such, I have a proven track record of effective teaching when it comes to the A-level Sciences.
I obtained my MSci in Chemistry in 2023 from Imperial College London, where my final year thesis focus was the future of automation in Chemistry.
