About Sudeep

I am a PhD-trained cancer biologist based in London, currently working as a senior scientist. My academic and professional experience has given me a strong foundation in molecular and cell biology, as well as extensive experience mentoring and training students and early-career researchers.

I take a structured, professional, and supportive approach to tutoring. I focus on helping students build genuine understanding and confidence, rather than relying on memorisation. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student, ensuring lessons are clear, engaging, and paced appropriately.

I have supported students across a range of levels, from building core foundations in science to preparing for important exams. I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.

My aim is to help students not only improve their grades, but also develop confidence and a deeper understanding of science.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs. For Key Stage 3 and GCSE, I focus on building strong foundations, clear understanding, and confidence in science. For A-level and university students, I emphasise deeper conceptual understanding, linking topics and applying knowledge to exam-style questions.

Each session typically lasts 60 minutes and includes clear explanations, guided practice, and problem-solving. I adapt my teaching pace to suit each student, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and fully understand each topic before moving on. I also support revision planning, past paper practice, and improving exam technique to help students achieve strong academic results.
