About Roy
I'm a tutor, but I'm a student first, and so the most difficult student to teach is myself. I have 3 years' experience in online and offline tutoring. I've taught dozens of students while also being a student, so I can relate to you guys a lot. I'm a recent Imperial College graduate. My strong academic record also gives me credibility. At GCSE, I got an A* in Maths and Physics. For A Levels, I achieved an A* in Maths. In both cases, I was at the top of my class. But I wasn't always Mr A*. I want to help students who are struggling to level up.

I have 3 years' experience as a freelance online tutor. My lessons are for students working to ace their GCSEs or A Levels. A lesson is typically 1 hour. The format is an interactive lecture. There will be a handful of learning objectives. At the end of the lesson, we will review what we learned. I am flexible with teaching methods and will use whatever techniques work best for my student. Working through a quality textbook is a reliable method, but I will happily branch out into real-world examples and visual demonstrations. What matters to me is that my student leaves understanding the concept - whatever makes it click for you!
