About Shai
I am Shai, an Imperial College London graduate with an MSci in Chemistry with Molecular Physics, and I have been tutoring for over 6 years. I teach Chemistry, Maths and Physics up to A-level, as well as Maths and Science for younger students.
I enjoy teaching because I genuinely like helping people, and I especially love working with children and young people to help them unlock their full potential. I aim to create a supportive, focused and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving step by step.
My lessons are structured, patient and tailored to each student’s goals, whether they need help building confidence, strengthening subject knowledge or improving exam technique.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s ability, goals and confidence level. I focus on making difficult topics clear by breaking them down step by step, using exam-style questions, active recall and regular practice to strengthen understanding. I encourage students to ask questions freely and build confidence rather than simply memorising content.
A typical lesson is usually 1 hour, but this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. I teach Chemistry, Maths and Physics up to A-level, and Maths and Science up to GCSE.
I am an Imperial College London graduate, having completed an MSci in Chemistry with Molecular Physics, and I have been tutoring for over 6 years.
