About Zaynah

As your tutor, I would provide you with extra education and support you will not receive in school which will help you progress academically and earn qualifications. I will tailor our lessons for you and advise you in ways that will help you! If you find notes tedious and repetitive, I can support you in other methods that students seem to prefer such as active recall and spaced revision! If you're struggling with time management, I will make you timetables that suit your level of work so you are not burnt out and well rested!

I have completed a degree from Imperial College London in Ecology and Environmental Biology; I love learning about how to combat the effects of climate change. I remain as a straight A student and have a wide range of understanding of all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) from GCSE, where I received 8,8,7 to A level where I received AAA*.

In our lessons, we will be engaged and interested in our studies as we will expect more from ourselves. Rather than aiming for average, you will see you can achieve higher through hard work and determination. I will be there to guide you through it and aid you in every way, I can.

About the lesson

My lessons will consist of me guiding you through the content, giving analogies and tips to learn the information. I will give you the help you need and ask for as well as what I think will be beneficial to you.

I understand the difficulties of wanting great grades but the content being too difficult to learn or feeling there is not enough time. I promise you there is and I will help you manage a disciplined routine with enough time for study and leisure.

In terms of progress, we will do many active recall worksheets which will allow you to remember the content more effectively and without needing to rewrite notes again and again. Exam style questions and past papers are a must and we will keep track of your results to see where you struggled in and be proud of your achievements.

Learning needs to be encouraged as it builds our confidence and gives us a sense of accomplishment. Showing a timeline of your progress would make you feel proud of yourself and push you to do better!
