About Lisa
The main field of art I work in as an illustrator is 'Realism.' I am a self-taught artist. I've illustrated: Bible-based book covers, two coloring books (self-published), drawn and painted portraits, and pet portraits, as well as multiple small projects, including logos, calendars, cards, etc., and I am currently working on a children's book. I have also taught on Twitch, for about a year. Sharing the things I learn on how to get real as an artist and how that is also affected by how real we are with ourselves.

The style of art I offer for tutorial lessons is "Realism." I work with watercolor paints, watercolor pencils, pen & ink, acrylics, water-soluable oils and Photoshop. I have some experience with many other art mediums. I will work with the student at their skill level. Lesson topics to work on are as follows: Art concepts (light, shade, color, etc.) Techniques, using different mediums (Watercolor paint, water-based medium, ink, markers, etc.) Using art tools (brushes, blenders, erasers, papers, etc.) Watercolor basics. Pen & Ink Basics. Helpful advice on resources. Work from an outlined lesson plan along with homework assignments. Homework assignments will build and strengthen students' abilities and help them understand the lessons and any areas that need more instruction. We will analyze the projects and work through the lesson, guiding you in ways of improvement. Classes are remote (online) with timed sessions.
