About Ashley
I am currently new student at Illinois State based in Chicago. I recently got my associates degree and have always been on the dean's or honors list for my grades. I do not have much experience with tutoring, but am very skillful and well rounded when it comes to education. I would preferably love to teach children in grade school and work my way up to gain more experience. I can be very flexible with parents when it comes to their work schedule. Because I know times can be tough with online learning, I want to offer my help in this field. My ultimate goal is to see that my students succeed and get the proper help they need to reach their full potential when it comes to their academics.

Depending on what the student knows about the subject, I would tend to build off that. Once I get a jest of their understanding on the subject, I would try to recognize what kind of learner they are (visual, verbal...etc). Once I found my best approach, I would try different methods along that category to further their education on the subject. I would make sure we go through the lesson thoroughly and complete a couple of practice or comprehension question to make sure they fully understand.
