About Tanumoy
Hello! I’m Tanumoy, an IIT Kharagpur Mathematics & Computing graduate who turned a lifelong fascination with numbers into a mission to help others see their beauty and power. Years of tutoring classmates, mentoring Olympiad aspirants, and applying math in real-world projects have shown me that every learner can master the subject with the right guidance. I teach because I love watching “aha!” moments light up faces; sharing clear, first-principles explanations lets students replace anxiety with genuine confidence and curiosity.

My classes start by untangling each concept from first principles, building step-by-step intuition before touching formulas. Every session mixes story-driven explanations, quick diagnostic quizzes, and live problem-solving so you learn why, not just how. I tailor pace and examples to each student, whether you’re a nervous middle-schooler, a board-exam warrior, or an Olympiad aspirant, using bilingual English-Bengali or English-Hindi clarity when helpful. Weekly recap sheets and mini-challenges keep progress visible, while real-world applications show mathematics as a tool, not a hurdle.
