Since I've spent over a decade in classrooms teaching high-level math and physics, I have a good idea about the stuff that makes students love and hate each subject. I approach teaching with the thought: "There are no bad students, only bad teachers". I encourage each student to come up with their solutions, and I often only play the role of asking the right questions, rather than giving them the answers.
