About Megha
Hello! I’m Megha, currently pursuing my PhD in astrophysics after completing my BS-MS in Physics from IISER Mohali with a minor in data science. Over the years, I’ve built a strong foundation in both mathematics and physics, and I genuinely enjoy sharing that knowledge with students. I teach mathematics up to class 12 and physics at the college level, with an approach that focuses on clarity, step-by-step understanding, and connecting concepts with practical problem-solving. My classes are structured but also interactive, so students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. What I bring as a teacher is not just subject expertise, but also patience, encouragement, and the perspective of someone who has gone through the same learning journey and knows where students often struggle. My aim is to make these subjects approachable, engaging, and less overwhelming, while helping students build the confidence to excel.

I like to keep my classes simple and focused on understanding rather than memorizing. For maths, I teach school students up to class 12, making sure the basics are clear and linking every topic with problem-solving practice. For physics, I work with college students, going into concepts, derivations, and applications in a way that feels less intimidating.
Usually, I start with a quick recap, explain the topic step by step, and then move to examples and practice problems. I try to keep the class interactive, so students feel free to ask questions any time.
Coming from a BS-MS at IISER Mohali and now doing a PhD in astrophysics, I enjoy breaking down tough concepts into simpler ideas. My aim is to make learning maths and physics less stressful and more approachable.
