About Guillermo

I am a 17 year old student from Madrid. Currently I am studying the IB (International Baccalaureate), with a scholarship in a British school, in which I continue to broaden my knowledge on the subjects of mathematics, physics and chemistry.

I have lived several times in England. I was living there for 4 years as a child during which I learned English, and I returned to live there last year, in a prestigious boarding school in Oxford, until the Covid forced me to return before finishing high school.

I studied the IGCSE course two years ago, getting the highest marks in mathematics, physics and chemistry (9 out of 9). In addition, I studied physical education and business, in which I got an 8 out of 9. I also passed with good grades Spanish and Spanish literature, with an A *, English literature with a 6, and English as a first language with a 7.
At the end of high school, if possible, I will go to study abroad. I have already received several offers from foreign universities, such as Imperial College London, Delft University or Eindhoven Technical University.

About the lesson

My learning method varies for each student, since not all people learn the same. What I intend to achieve with my students is to encourage critical thinking so that they are able to focus and solve any of the IGCSE questions given in the exam without any doubt. This is achieved by learning with real exam exercises, which prepare the student for exactly the questions they will receive in the final exam.
I apply this method to my teaching as, having completed the IGCSE course two years ago, I have personally come to the conclusion that it is the best way to get the best results.

I offer support classes, revision sessions and catch-up sessions.

As a teacher, I am very open and eager to help the student. I know in advance what the IGCSE student will go through in their exams, and thanks to that I know how to prepare the student to maximize their potential. All of this is supported by the official qualifications for which I am eligible to teach these reinforcement classes:
-9/9 (equivalent to A * or honors) in the IGCSEs in both mathematics, physics and chemistry. All of them in English.
-Level C1 of English, and experience with the technical vocabulary required by these subjects.
