About Sama
Hello! I am a passionate science educator with a strong background in healthcare and science. I have several years of experience teaching high school biology (AP and IGCSE) and hold an International Postgraduate Certificate in Education (iPGCE) from the University of Derby. I currently teach biology, including advanced topics such as AP Biology.
My teaching approach focuses on making complex scientific concepts clear, engaging, and easy to understand. I enjoy helping students build confidence in biology, prepare for exams, and develop strong critical thinking skills.

I have more than 5 years of experience teaching high school biology, including advanced courses such as AP / IGCSE Biology. My role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for assessments, and guiding them through scientific inquiry learning.
I focus on helping students understand complex biological concepts such as genetics, molecular biology, and human physiology by breaking them down into clear, structured explanations.
I hold an International Postgraduate Certificate in Education (iPGCE) from the University of Derby, which strengthened my knowledge of modern teaching strategies, classroom management, and student-centered learning.
My teaching methodology focuses on concept-based learning rather than memorization. I use visual explanations, real-life applications, and step-by-step problem-solving to help students develop a deeper understanding of biological processes. I also adapt my lessons to match each student’s learning style and academic needs.
