About Joy

Hello! My name is Joy, and I am passionate about teaching the Igbo language and culture. With over 27 years of experience in teaching Igbo, I have perfected my skills in making language learning very engaging, practical, and enjoyable for all levels of learners.

I hold a PhD in Early Childhood Education, and this has equipped me with unique expertise in tailoring lessons to meet individual learning needs. So, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your fluency, my teaching approach combines traditional and modern techniques to ensure you gain a deep understanding of the language and its cultural richness.

Let’s embark on this exciting journey of learning Igbo together. I look forward to helping you achieve your language goals.

About the lesson

I teach Igbo language to students online for approximately one hour per student a day. I have 27 years of experience teaching this language and am very passionate about it. I hold a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in English/Igbo, a B.A. (Ed) in English, a Master's Degree, and PhD in Early Childhood Education. Thus, I am able to teach children, teenagers, and adults at all levels of language proficiency.
