About Udayan
I am currently pursuing my Master of Laws (LLM) at UNSW Sydney and previously practiced as a lawyer in India, where clear writing, structured argument, and precise communication were essential to my work. I scored Band 8.5 in IELTS and understand the exam not just as a language test, but as a structured assessment with predictable marking criteria.

I teach IELTS and Academic English with a focus on the two areas that move scores fastest: writing and speaking. I scored IELTS Band 8.5 and I'm currently an LLM student at UNSW, so my approach is structured, practical, and very feedback-driven.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes. We start with a quick diagnostic (your current level, target band, timeline), then work on clear frameworks for Task 1/Task 2, vocabulary that sounds natural (not memorized), and sentence-level accuracy. For speaking, I help you answer fluently under time pressure, with cleaner grammar, better coherence, and a strong "band 7+" delivery.
You'll get specific corrections, model answers, and a simple improvement plan each week. I work best with students aiming for Band 6.5-8.5, university assignments, and professionals who need confident, formal English. Online or in-person in Sydney.
