About Sophie
I was a tutor whilst studying for my undergraduate degree, but had a break for several years whilst I travelled and began full time work. I am now beginning to tutor again, having moved to a new area a couple of years ago and restarted my own studies.

I tutor primarily GCSE and A Level students in history, geography and am willing to consider general studies and other subjects under the humanities arch. I received a BA in history from the University of York, graduating in 2011, and am currently studying for an MSc in International Development, part time, alongside my work in travel.
My techniques are personal to each student, depending on their needs. Focus will both be on subject knowledge and style of writing; this can be both working towards exams or general help with the subject.
