About Lewis
Passionate, energetic, and dedicated to making learning engaging, I offer expert tutoring in the humanities, specialising in History and Geography. I studied History at UWE and also have an A-level in Geography, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the subjects I teach. I believe tutoring should be interactive, thought-provoking, and, most importantly, fun! My lessons are designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding—without relying on YouTube videos. After all, why pay for a tutor just to watch someone else teach? Instead, I provide tailored, dynamic sessions that keep students actively involved in their learning. In addition to subject knowledge, I also help students develop essential debate skills—teaching them how to construct arguments, think critically, and express their ideas with confidence. I hold a History degree from UWE Bristol, specialising in the rise of fascism, the Spanish Civil War, and Britain’s involvement in the Ottoman Empire.
