As a qualified Geography teacher with over six years of experience and a range of senior roles, I bring a strong combination of subject knowledge, leadership, and a student-focused teaching style. My tutoring approach is built on clarity, engagement, and academic progress. I aim to boost students’ confidence, spark curiosity, and support them in achieving their full potential. My teaching style is structured, adaptable, and interactive. I use a mix of real-world case studies, up-to-date examples, visual aids, and questioning to make complex geographical concepts more accessible. I place strong emphasis on developing key skills such as data analysis, extended writing, and exam technique—areas that are vital for success, particularly at GCSE and A-Level. Sessions are clearly structured with a focused objective, a mix of teaching and active learning, and time at the end for feedback or questions. I regularly assess progress and adjust content to suit the learner’s individual needs, whether that’s reinforcing core knowledge or stretching higher-level understanding. I’m familiar with major exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, and I have a strong track record of helping students improve grades through targeted intervention. My lessons are ideal for secondary school students—from KS3 through to A-Level—whether they need help with content revision, exam technique, coursework, or just want to deepen their understanding of the subject.
